What changes when the parts fit

Six projects, written the same way each time. What the business said was wrong, what we built, what changed.

Anonymised, illustrative engagement profiles. They show the shape of the work, not audited client results.

01 · Manufacturing & Distribution

Four entities, one close process

Regional distribution group

Challenge

Four trading entities on separate systems, one finance team. Month-end took nearly three weeks. Most of that was matching stock and intercompany balances by hand.

Solution

We moved all four onto Business Central with one chart of accounts. Item and customer records were cleaned on the way in. Intercompany postings now run themselves, with Power BI over the top.

02 · Professional Services

A pipeline leadership could forecast against

B2B services firm

Challenge

Sales worked out of a CRM nobody trusted. Stages meant different things to different reps. Half the pipeline had no next action, and the forecast was rebuilt in a spreadsheet weekly.

Solution

We redefined the stages: what has to be true to enter one, and who owns it. Then rebuilt it in HubSpot and cleaned out the duplicates. Routing, logging and follow-up are now automatic.

Getting site data off paper

Multi-site operations business

Challenge

Site inspections went on paper, then a photo, then an email, then a spreadsheet days later. Nobody could see outstanding issues without rebuilding the picture by hand.

Solution

A Power Apps mobile app that works with no signal, with photos and checked fields. Exceptions route for approval automatically. Completed records reach reporting the same day.

04 · Financial Services

Invoice handling without the re-typing

Finance operations team

Challenge

Supplier invoices arrived as PDFs across several mailboxes. A small team opened each one, read it, and typed it into the finance system.

Solution

Documents now come in automatically. AI pulls the fields out and checks them against the purchase order, then posts to finance. Only the uncertain ones reach a person.

05 · Retail & E-Commerce

Ending the two-versions-of-revenue problem

Multi-channel retailer

Challenge

Commercial and finance reported different revenue every month. Each pulled from a different system, and each meant something different by a completed order.

Solution

We built one model over the ERP, storefront and CRM data. Every number got a written definition and a named owner. Executive reporting was rebuilt in Power BI on top of it.

06 · Professional Services

A site the marketing team could actually run

Technology services company

Challenge

The site was slow on mobile and badly structured for search. Every copy change needed a developer ticket and a deployment.

Solution

A rebuild on a CMS-driven stack with a component library and a speed budget. Marketing owns the content now. Every enquiry lands in the pipeline with its source attached.
